The influence of bearings on motor efficiency

What are the differences between 2RZ and 2RS bearings? Simply put, 2RS has rubber seals on both sides, while 2RZ has dust covers on both sides. One is contact type and the other is non-contact type. 2RS has less noise, but its precision is not very high and cannot reach P5 level. The basic dimensions of the two types of bearings are the same. Whether they can be used interchangeably depends on your application. The sealing effect of 2RS is better than that of 2RZ, but the friction resistance is slightly larger. If you require good sealing, such as no oil leakage, it is best to use 2RS.

During the actual production and processing, apart from the structure and quality of the bearings themselves, the compatibility with the lubricating grease and the bearings also play a role. Some motors become very flexible after starting and rotating for a period of time. For manufacturers with the conditions to monitor data, the most obvious fact is that as the motor rotates, the no-load current and no-load loss will gradually decrease from large to small and tend to stabilize. Some customers will control the shutdown time of the motor. From the test data, it can be found that the motor with a relatively longer shutdown time has better efficiency than the motor with a relatively shorter shutdown time.
