NEMA motors comply with standards issued by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. They are mainly used in North America and many international projects.
These motors have unified frame sizes, mounting dimensions and shaft sizes from different manufacturers, so they can be easily replaced. The most widely used type is three-phase induction motor. NEMA Design B is common for general equipment like fans, pumps and conveyors.
